People who know me know that I’m a bit of a celebrity gossip aficionado, so I thought I’d experiment by writing up my predictions of events in the world of celebrity for the coming months and then assessing how many were correct. If I get most of them right I will have proven that I am either psychic or extremely sad… hmmm…

1) Madonna and Guy Richie will divorce by the end of the year. Madonna will move back to the United States.

2) Felicity Huffman will be the surprise winner of the Best Actress award at this year’s Oscars, beating favourite Reese Witherspoon.
(OK SO I’VE ALREADY BEEN PROVED WRONG ON THIS ONE!).

3) Britney Spears will announce she is pregnant with her second child - soon.
(BRITNEY ANNOCUNED HER PREGNANCY ON MAY 10TH 2006)

4) Brad and Angelina will NOT get married in 2006 despite all the speculation to the contrary.

5) Sienna Miller’s career will go downhill - big time.
(C.F. THE HUMILIATING OSCAR PICTURES AND THE DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO GET BACK WITH JUDE - APRIL 06. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF BEING PROVED RIGHT…!)

6) Chantelle and Preston will get married in the style of Peter and Jordan with a million page spread in OK Magazine.
(I AM CLAIMING THIS ONE AS CORRECT SINCE THEY GOT ENGAGED ON APRIL 11. OK MAGAZINE IS A GIVEN NOW…)

7) Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will have a boy, who they will name after Tom himself.
(I THINK I DESERVE A QUARTER POINT HERE. OK SO IT WASN’T A BOY NAMED TOM, BUT… ‘SURI’ (THE BABY’S NAME) IS AN ANAGRAM OF ‘CRUISE’ MINUS THE FIRST TWO LETTERS. PLUS TOM CRUISE WAS BORN IN SYRACUSE, WHICH SOUNDS SUSPICIOUSLY LIKE SURI CRUISE NOW DOESN’T IT?? HE’S A NARCISSIST - IF IT WAS A BOY IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED TOM!!)

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner will shock everyone by splitting up.

9) Jennifer Lopez will adopt a baby girl.

10) Pete Doherty will go to prison.
