Lucky, Lucky Chelski…
Posted by Stu 12th March 2006 in Stu's ViewToday I went to the Chelsea v Tottenham game, and allĀ I can say is…
Well am still a little lost for words. I still can’t believe how jammy it was that they scored in the 92 minute, a good goal that it was, but jammy all the same.
Over 90 minutes I think the boys from the Lane did a magnificent job, unfortunately the 3 minutes after it all went a bit pear shaped. Fair played to Chelsea though, I mean they did bounce back after getting outplayed by Barcelona in the week, resulting in them crashing out the Champions League (again!).
Would like to add a quick mention to all the Chelsea fans in the upper tier of the Shed end for sending down their unwanted change and left over hot dogs (which were pretty minging) to us Tottenham supporters at the final whistle. Next time you might want to consider sending your donations to registered charities like Oxfam or The Children’s Society.
So it looks like Chelsea could finish the season on a 100+ points finish, while us lillywhites cling to the possibility of Champions League football next season. And if we lose out by the odd point I think this is one of the games we can feel robbed us of such pleasures.

Stuart
I was unaware that there was professional football in England. I hope that the football that you are referring to is the full contact North American brand that is played by men and not the childā??s game that is played by 5 year old girls and “special” athletes. Either way, it’s nice to see you supporting the gents that couldn’t make it in real sports.
