For the very few of you who missed the Channel 4 Political Awards broadcast last Saturday it should come as no surprise that Webcameron won the award for “Opening Up Politics”.

As impartial observers we’d like to say ‘congratulations’ to ourselves who built the site, to all the Cameroons who keep the media flowing and most of all to the fabulous public who contribute each and every day - the award is actually yours so why don’t you go down to Portcullis House and ask to keep it at your place for the weekend?

The excellent competition included the likes of Operation Black Vote and The Scottish Parliament for Festival of Politics.
