When I last updated microsoft updates last week 11/05/07, everything went wrong on my computer. I couldnt get my internet connection, or my email on (incredimail).
I spoke to my server about the internet connection and it wasnt them, they told me to do a restore, which I did, everything was fine, and then the Microsoft updates were on again. And EVERY time this happens I cant use the Internet or my email!!!! I dont not what to do...... its a complete nightmare ..... and ideas anyone what I can do ??????

I can't say that I had any such trouble. But although I don't use IE, my preferred browser is based on IE (Maxthon, which interestingly Google have just bought into). So perhaps that would mean that I wouldn't be affected? Then again, some friends who use Firefox have not had any problems either. Of course, undoubtedly we're all on different spec machines with different software installed so the updates we receive would vary a bit anyway.
However, it seems that the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (or whatever it's called) update may have done the same thing for some people last month: http://reddit.com/info/1ap2h/comments
