Hi there!

I'm pretty recent in joining a working team for Age Concern (up Yorkshire-way), and am having a look round the net for how much Age Concern is actually gerrin' off its backside and promoting itself via the Net. This news item sounds good - but it's rather poor than no-one from the London charity shops, nor their chief-exec's, nor the committee members or trustees, have come out to comment or congragulate this incentive. This is poor and needs remedying! C'mon people - gerrof y' backsides!

C'mon 'Age Concern' people - let's get a bit more active and shout a bit more about ourselves! This is a good thing that's been promoted here. At least say, 'Well done' when someone does something. Or izzit nowt more than 'just a job' to most folks...? Let's hope not!

I'm gonna start an Age Concern blog pretty soon, where we an share our experiences, tales of shops, folklore, zimmer-frame exchange schemes, ideas, parties, outings, talks, lectures, etc, etc. Anyone into joining and helping out? (if so, email me at megalithix@gmail.com with the subject heading 'Age Concern blog')

All the best - Paul
