Head hits New York!

A few weeks back Head were one of 21 UK digital companies selected to go over the pond to New York for 2008′s government sponsored Digital Mission. Ramsey, our MD, pitched Head’s digital capabilities and latest innovations to top US investors and other VIPs.
We got an awesome reception and a lovely little write up over at Interactive KnowHow on why we started, our culture and more of those vicious rumors that our office is “the happiest place on earth” awr thanks guys!

Christmas is here
Friday 12th December 2008Christmas has well and truly landed here at Percy Street, our Christmas tree is up and running and some very lucky sausages are about to receive some beautiful presents packaged carefully by Head’s very own “extraordinary upper Christmas Management team”.
Our inspired elves managed to buy Topshop out of pick’n'mix and clear the shelves of Soho’s natty gift stores for our beautiful hand made stockings to devour. The now famous Head Christmas stockings, designed & produced by the marvelous Kate, are now out on there way to various destinations across the globe, we hope you love them as much as we do.

Head hits Riga!
Friday 12th December 2008Team bonding went into overdrive last weekend at Head, as we all missed our usual Friday tipple for an expedition to the depth’s of Eastern Europa. With our hangover’s at the ready, we hit the hotel spa, got our hot mud bath on and prepared ourselves for a latvic medieval joyride of drink, food, AK 47′s and a little bit of sightseeing.
Many thanks goes out to the the indigenous Baltic people of Latvia for being such beautiful hosts and last but defiantly not least a big congratulations goes out to the marksmen of the weekend, Will who won a little medal of honor for keeping his gun barrel on target all weekend!

Hooray! Head has been shortlisted for an award within E-consultancy’s inaugural Innovation Awards under the category “Innovation in Social Media & Communities”. The second round of judging is now under way and the winners will be announced on 2nd December 2008 to co-inside with Britney Spears Birthday, Fact! Go us!

We’ve just launched Graduate Careers, a new site for our good friends over at Withers Worldwide.
We selected a handful of trainees from Withers, gave them each a video camera and asked them to capture their typical working day. The aim of the game was to give a realistic view of what it’s like to work at Withers as well as allowing users to find out everything they need to know about the company and apply for a job.
